Shahana Goswami attended the 18th International Film Festival in Busan on Thursday. The festival opened with the film 'Vara: A Blessing' featuring Shahana as 'Lila'.
Shahana told reporters, "It was nice to experience that element of childhood again because there were a lot of similarities between Lila and how I was when I was much younger, such as talking to God as if (he or she) is my friend, dancing around, being a tomboy, being scolded by your parents for not doing the right thing.”
Shahana won the Marie Claire Asia Star Best Actress Award for her performance in the film.
Shahana sported a black 'Indian' by Manish Arora lehenga. She also wore a red Arpita Mehta sari for the award ceremony.
